Matchplay Competitions – played off FRONT TEES – singles, bisque, 4 ball better ball, and Campbell-Neilson Mixed Foursomes.  Senior Handicap.  Both parties are responsible for completing ties on time.

Guidance for Competitors

To obtain a handicap a player must submit THREE cards to the Match Committee, of which at least one must be a Medal Competition.  A certain standard of playing competence will be required to be shown before a new handicap is allocated.  Each competitor is expected to report to the starter and be ready for play at least TEN minutes before his tee-off time.

Each player is asked to ensure that his score is entered into the Personal Score Input system.  The computer is situated in the main lounge.  If you have any questions or difficulties with the system please contact any committee member, or the Club administrator, who should be able to help.  Any competitor failing to enter his score in the computer will be banned from the next weekend medal competition.  It is the responsibility of the competitor  to check that his score is correct, check his handicap is on his card, ensure that both the marker and himself have signed the card and to return the card (letter box in the main lounge) to the Match Committee.  Any alterations to a card must be initialled by the marker.  Once a card has been posted the competitor is not entitled to have it returned to him for any reason.

Section plays every Thursday 8.15 am till 10.15 am.
